What are the basic steps
behind hair inhibitors?
1- Using common methods
of hair removal such as: tweezing, waxing or sugaring will
result in exposing the hair follicle's pore. Shaving,
another common method of hair removal, will only cut or trim
the hair but will not physically remove the entire hair
(shaft and follicle) from the skin. Removing the entire hair
is key and is the recommended method for the best results.
2- Once the entire hair
is extracted, massage the hair inhibitor thoroughly into the
skin to allow it to penetrate and line the follicle wall.
Once absorbed into the pore and follicle wall the hair
inhibitor will begin to interfere with the regeneration of
new hair growth.
3- Most hair inhibitors
contain naturally occurring sulfur reducers which have been
formulated to penetrate the follicle and safely interfere
with hair's ability to regenerate at the root. Over time,
hair is permanently inhibited from ever growing back.
**Do not expect
permanent effects when a hair inhibitor is used after
shaving. The result after a combination of shaving and using
a hair inhibitor generally is a slower rate of hair growth
and weaker finer hair.
